Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-games
The application uses almost 100% of the CPU as soon as I start it, even if the
AI isn't running(human vs. human). This makes the entire operating system crash
and the computer shutdown.
I'm using Glchess 2.26.1 (included in the latest package 1:2.26.1-Oubuntu2 of
gnome-games) in 2D.
The release I am using is Ubuntu 9.04.
The name of the process which is creating this problem is
/usr/games/gnome-gnuchess --xboard.
