That is not true. After apport uploaded my crash file, I was asked to check if my issue was not already reported. And it was. Are you suggesting I should have opened a duplicated bug? That doesn't sound right to me (why do you show the list of exiting bugs then?). I would have expected launchpad to either attach the uploaded crash file to the exiting issue or tell me that the exiting issue already has a crash file attach and mine will be dropped. But since this issue doesn't have the crash info and you marked the bug as invalid because of this, I though I might help by attaching the crash file for further inspection.
