I used to be able to hear sounds before on previous versions of ubuntu. After
upgrading to karmic,first it worked but now it doesnt.
when i try to watch youtube, i can see the video but cant hear any sound.Same
thing with me watching a movie either with vlc or totem.
I have a laptop,and sound device which (as shown in alsamixer) is Realtek
ALC262 .
In alsamixer,both the PCM and Master are full and system's volume is set to
full.
please send me a solution or fix this.
