Siber, Due to a package bug, you have been left using the Jaunty kernel (2.6.28) instead of the Karmic kernel (2.6.31). Please run 'sudo update-grub' in the terminal and reboot your machine. This should set the /boot/grub/menu.lst file to boot into the proper kernel.
