Same bug happening to me. Ubuntu Karmic Koala 9.10, fresh install. I can burn only one cd / dvd. Then Brasero refuses to detect any new media. For example i was trying to do a pair of copies of the Ubuntu 9.10 iso. First burn went fine, but any other tries to burn it failed.
