Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gdm

According to GDM documentation[1] the /apps/gdm/simple-greeter/exclude
GConf key can be used to exclude some users from appears in greeter.

Unfortunately, running the following command, there is no effect (even
restarting gdm service)

   sudo -u gdm gconftool-2 --set /apps/gdm/simple-greeter/exclude --type
list --list-type string "[betatester]"

More test results will come.
