Me too. After 4 or 5 tabs open, it starts to use lots of CPU. Sometimes, if a site is very heavy, with 1 or 2 tabs it is slow too...
I upgraded from the Ubuntu 9.4 to 9.10 -- Firefox 3.5 is very slow.
