Error message: "Totem cannot play this type of media (DVD) because it
does not have the appropriate plugins to be able to read from the disc."
The only operating system installed is ubuntu 9.04 Desktop Edition. I'm
able to play a DVD that I recorded from a TV program on a DVD
Recorder/Player. But I am unable to play any of my movies/DVD's that I
purchased. I have reinstalled the operating system without resolving
the problem. I am a new user, and I'm still learning how to use ubuntu.
So, please keep it simple.
