Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

Hi,

It's the first time I report a bug. My apologize if something is
missing. I'll try to give more information on request.

This is a fresh install, no upgrade.

lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 9.10
Release: 9.10

apt-cache policy nautilus
nautilus:
  Installed: 1:2.28.1-0ubuntu2
  Candidate: 1:2.28.1-0ubuntu2
  Version table:
 *** 1:2.28.1-0ubuntu2 0

        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
     1:2.28.1-0ubuntu1 0

folder structure:
~/Downloads/x/y

When in y moving a video to x by ctrl+x and ctrl+v.
Go to folder x and move back the video to folder Y by drag and drop
Go to folder y. Nautilus hang there.

Doing a 'rm -rf ~/.thumbnails/normal/*' does help on recreating the
thumbnail. Also, when using keyboard shortcuts, nautilus never (at least
from this tests) never hang, nor does it seam to recreate the
thumbnails.

** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
