Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-applets
1. Mount a USB drive
2. Open a terminal and navigate (i.e. cd...) to a directory on that USB drive
and leave that terminal open
3. Attempt to unmount the drive using the applet.
You can't unmount it, and it gives no error message.
This is because you have a directory open in the terminal.
The disk umounter should give an error message saying that 'Cannot
unmount drive. Another process (bash) has a file open on that drive'
