I think it is a duplicate of that bug although switching to list-view or icons did not mitigate the problem for me. The problem started today. It had not been a problem for a couple weeks. Since it only started happening after a couple weeks, I don't know how to reproduce it. I have attached a screenshot with the Nautilus window next to the terminal with a directory readout.
