Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: rhythmbox
1) Description: Ubuntu 9.10
Release: 9.10
2) rhythmbox:
Installiert: 0.12.5-0ubuntu5
Kandidat: 0.12.5-0ubuntu5
Versions-Tabelle:
*** 0.12.5-0ubuntu5 0
500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com karmic-updates/main Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
0.12.5-0ubuntu4 0
500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com karmic/main Packages
3) I tried to drag&drop a song from the music library to the iPod-nano.
4) but the song could not be copied and it created the message "Fehler
beim Übertragen des Titels / In die Ressource konnte nicht geschrieben
werden." (free english translation: could not write to resource).
if I try to copy to the iPod playlist it does not even create a error
message.
NOTE: am trying to make this iPod sync work since bout 2 weeks - many
hours... I have searched the internet and found many people with the
same/similar issue and different solution proposals, but none worked for
me. even though I like ubuntu I will have to move away if iPod sync
doesn work as easy as with iTunes. i started with rhytmbox because it
says it was based on the idea of iTunes... so please help.
thanks and kindest regards
Lorenz
