In my opinion, as one appears offline both when one logs out or one changes the status to Hidden/Invisible, it will be more accurate if Empathy and the indicator applet use the following naming:
- "Offline (Hidden)" instead of "Hidden", since "Hidden" is not a status by itself that your contacts can see, but "Offline". - "Offline (Close session)" instead of "Offline", since you are taking the action of closing your session. I think that in that way we would reflect better that our status will change to "Offline" for your contacts, while it is clear which action one has taken. -- Inconsistent Naming of "Invisible" status in indicator applet and Empathy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/489097 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to empathy in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
