You have been subscribed to a public bug: Hi,
I have a suggestion: why Natilus' preferences doesn't have an option to show or not show an icon for my mounted file systems on my desktop ? To do it, the user need to google about and make changes in gconf- editor. "In the left pane of the window, browse to apps->nautilus->desktop. Uncheck the volumes_visible option and the partitions on your desktop will disappear." (http://tombuntu.com/index.php/2007/10/25/hide- partition-icons-from-your-ubuntu-desktop/) bye. ** Affects: hundredpapercuts Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: icons nautilus partitions -- Add an option in Nautilus' preferences to not show mounted partitions on desktop https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/bugs/492240 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
