Additional Note: Same thing happened twice. However the third time I clicked the "Click to make changes" button. If you click "Click to make changes" first it seems to work fine.
This is still a bug though. You should not be allowed to "pretend" to make a change if you are not currently in "change mode". Also, it affected the keyring authentication without actually changing your password!
