I'm just saying Ubuntu's visualizations (audio) do not look all that great at times. For one check out the xbox 360's standard visualizations e.g. http://blog.hvidtfeldts.net/media/neon9.png , http://www.codinghorror.com/blog/images/neon-xbox360-visualization.jpg . They look quite better; and I am sure there is something one can do to make Ubuntu's compare to that.
