When attempting to access my Windows network share via the Places menu.
I get the error "Cannot display location 'smb://...' No application is
registered as handling this file."
The same message appears whether the ip address or share name is used.
As an Operating System, Ubuntu should be able to handle this request
through the front-end UI without the need for running the command line
commands. And even if there is a problem accessing the share, a far more
clear and useful error message should be displayed.
