Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: nautilus
Fresh installation of karmic (using wubi installer). I was able to
connect, and upload/download a file, using mozilla firefox. But when I
use "Places -> Ubuntu One" I get a error message, telling me that there
is a "Capabilities mismatch", surmising I installed a "newer version of
the client". This is a brand new installation, plain vanilla. After
installing the latest updates yesterday, the system didn't boot any
more. I just got a "kernel panic" (unable to sync). So I reinstalled the
whole system. So I could' belief that I have a "newer version of the
client", it simply doesn't work.
This *is* a bit better than my first attempt, back then it didn't even
finish the initial configuration. Now I can at least use Firefox to
(somehow) use Ubuntu One.
Sincerely
C. M. Giblhauser
