Seems Evolution team refuses to fix the bug saying that it is desired
behaviour:

"This is really caused by the way of Evolution talking to Google calendar, but 
not Evolution's fault. They are preventing adding a
meeting through CalDAV when you are not the organizer (here 'you' means an 
email associated with Google account on their site)."

If this is not their fault, I wonder how come it works with google-
calendar-provider in Thunderbird?
