There are already a lot o suggestions how to deactive the user list in gdm2 database, e.g. http://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/Baustelle/GDM2_-_Tweaks ,
but on our "Family PC" we need it TOGETHER with it's configuration feature: Only "normal" users should be displayed, no support and system users! But :-( Karmic :-( ignores the "old" /etc/gdm/custom.conf: ... [greeter] GraphicalTheme=happygnome-list GraphicalThemes=happygnome-list GraphicalThemeRand=true IncludeAll=false <-- !!! Include=dad, mum, kids <-- !!! Exclude=nobody, install, root, backup <-- !!! [chooser] ... I couldn't find any corresponding entry within gdm2 database (gconf- editor; gconftool-2 rev. 2.28). :-(( -- No GUI option to change login theme https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/449198 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gdm in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
