Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-system-tools

Changing the password to the same password, but in a different case,
causes the Change Password window to lock up.

for example:
Old password: password
New Password: PASSWORD

will reproduce the bug.

Using the commandline tool passwd to attempt to do the same, will result
in an error message stating "Bad: old and new password must differ by
more than just case"
