I can't confirm this behaviour. Could you attach the output of the command 'devkit-disks --monitor-detail'? The commands monitors the disk activity and should be executed before you try to eject the disk. When you've tried often enough you can exit the monitor with Ctrl+C. If nothing useful shows up in the previous command, could you please repeat the same procedure, but now with the command 'gvfs-mount -oi' instead?
