It seems illogical in todays day and age that a thumbnailer crashes the
entire desktop file browser system.
Confirming here. The thumbnailer crash bugs have been around for at
least four or five releases. Is there anything we can do to alter the
way that Nautilus thumbnails so that a thumbnail bug doesn't drag down
the entire system?
