** Attachment added: "Nautilus section with panel showing" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/37492883/panelnautilus.png
** Description changed: Binary package hint: gnome-panel When using auto-hide with Gnome Panel and transparency, the transparency will look good when you're on the desktop or using unmaximized windows, but with windows maximized, the transparency shows the desktop wallpaper - not the window underneath and it looks hideous. As pictures are worth 1000 words, I've attached some examples. + The transparency of the panel should include whatever is underneath the + panel at the time, instead of just the desktop wallpaper. + ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 Date: Thu Jan 7 00:22:22 2010 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 Package: gnome-panel 1:2.28.0-0ubuntu6 ProcEnviron: - LANG=en_NZ.UTF-8 - SHELL=/bin/bash + LANG=en_NZ.UTF-8 + SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: gnome-panel Uname: Linux 2.6.32-020632-generic x86_64 -- Auto-hide panel transparency looks ugly on top of windows https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/503753 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-panel in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
