I suppose so, as for me the bug is there all the time. In every folder,
with every object that I'm hovering. I'm using Logitech G5 mouse with a
few weeks old Karmic installation. Default settings, which ever the
installation software choose. Also can't think of any third party
software that might cause this kind of behiavour. I installed Ubuntu
from Xubuntu media though, and changed the desktop environments after
installation.

I really can't think of anything else to specify. I posted a copy of
dpkg --get-selections in case there are some conflicting packages no one
yet knows about.
