Binary package hint: seahorse
I cannot find any information about the encryption algorithm used to protect
the stored passwords. The only hint about any real encryption is output of
$ file ~/.gnome2/keyrings/login.keyring
[...] GNOME keyring, major version 0, minor version 0, crypto type 0 (AEL) [...]
Where is the AEL encryption documented? I guess that this is not just a
typo for AES...
