I get this error when setting the Gnome Panel to opaque:

TypeError: can only assign a GdkPixmap or None
Reproduction:
Right click panel.
Select Properties.
Go to Background tab.
Select the Solid Color radio button.
Drag the Style slider all the way to Opaque
An error should come up.
