Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-applets
The new GNOME keyboard map selector applet in 2.29 (which seems to have
been converted into a Notification Area item since Karmic?) appears to
be hard-coded to use black fonts, which makes it impossible to see what
it says, on a theme with a dark GTK2 background color.
