You have been subscribed to a public bug:
If you right click a folder and share it, its prompts you to share with
either samba or nfs. Clicking samba installs samba and all is well on
the samba front.
Now, if I right click another folder and want to share with NFS, im out
of luck. No option for NFS.
A person has to know that they need NFS-common, NFS-kernel-server, and
portmap.
I belive that folder sharing should incluse both samba and nfs, or at
least prompt the person each time somehow.
