Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: yelp

I have been keeping digital photos for over 10 years now and I am trying to
import those 35,000 photos into f-spot.
First of all it always gives me an error when trying to import .TIF files.
it has imported around 10 thousands photos so far but it crashes when i try to
import the rest, I still have about 19,000 to import.
I am using import without copying the files but i selected the options to
detect doubles (doublons) and include sub-folders.
Maybe I should use another photo manager that can handle such a large database
of photos, what would you recommend?
I would prefer to use my existing ACDSee 2.5 pro if that was possible but I
dont mind trying whatever is here in Ubuntu, as long as it works! Thank you
for your kind help.
