Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: rhythmbox
Whenever I have rhythmbox running, if I am using headphones, music is
not playing, and I am touching the touchpad, I hear a strange static
sound in the headphones. This does not occur on the pc speaker, if the
touchpad is not being used, if headphones are not plugged in, while
music is playing, or when rhythmbox is not running. All of these
conditions must be met to produce the sound.
I'm running 64 bit Ubuntu 9.10 on a Dell Latitude D630.
