You have been subscribed to a public bug:
"Accidentally" adding a standard dictionary when offline does not allow
it to be removed except by changing the ~/.gnome2/gnome-dictionary
contents. Simply attempt to add one of the default dictionaries, and it
shows up twice in the right pane. Attempts to delete it result in an
error message. It should allow a deletion of a duplicate entry if at
least ONE of the original entries is there.
Further, the Dictionary Sources pane is not updating after adding or
removing a source.
