You have been subscribed to a public bug:
As login screen I use "human list".
My girlfriend uses the mouse on that screen, like she did on windows.
I use only the keyboard on that that screen, because that's faster, like I did
on windows.
There's only 1 account, with a password and a long username.
So I type slowly:
"<TAB>" => puts focus on the list
"<SPACE>" => selects that 1 account, the login now screen ask for my password
"myPassword"
"<ENTER> => I am logged in.
This is very fast because I don't have to type in my long username and I don't
have to use the mouse.
Now when I type *exactly* the same thing, but faster, there's a 50% chance this
will occur:
"<TAB>" => puts focus on the list
"<SPACE>" => selects that 1 account and logs in with an empty password,
freezing the screen for 3 seconds (because I've configured a failed password
attempt at 3 seconds) and displays that the password is wrong.
The space button shouldn't commit the login form. Especially not
randomly.
