I, too, am having this same problem. I was transferring a huge file to
my windows (ntfs) drive. It happened about a month ago, and I can't
remember exactly what happened, but the file transfer did not finish
completely (properly).

I can mount the ntfs drive without a problem. I can open and browse my
ntfs drive via the terminal, and Krusader (another file manager I
downloaded to try out). I can open Nautilus, in any directory, and
browse all over the place... UNTIL I browse to the "/media" directory -
then it crashes (I also lose all the icons on my desktop, and any other
nautilus browsers I have open). If I click directly via the menus:
"Places", "WinDrive", the same thing happens - crash.

(If I do NOT have my WinDrive (ntfs partition) mounted, then I can
browse to the "/media" directory without a crash)

Is there any additional input I can give to aid in the debugging of this
problem?

Thanks.
