Binary package hint: gnome-keyring
I have been making use of the gconf setting /apps/gnome-keyring/daemon-
components/ssh = false for several Ubuntu releases now, because I find
gnome-keyring's built-in ssh agent doesn't do the job as well as
OpenSSH's ssh-agent.
Since the upgrade from gnome-keyring 2.28.2-0ubuntu1 to
2.29.90git20100218-0ubuntu1, gnome-keyring appears to be dishonouring
this setting and starting its ssh-agent component anyway.
This is quite a serious bug, as I don't know of any workarounds - gnome-
keyring is very aggressive about injecting its SSH_AUTH_SOCK environment
variable into the X session, such that I've not found a viable option
using .xsessionrc or Xsession.d modifications.
