Thanks for your bug. If the dialog is not expanded by default that
because people don't need to use it "EVERY TIME", users often use their
desktop, home directory or a bookmark for that which are available
without browsing. We don't want to divert default behaviour from
upstream anyway, I'm marking that request as rejected. Feel free to
argue upstream if you want to get that changed but I think the simple
version by default is not confusing and good enough. Maybe you should
add the place you use for saving usually to the bookmarks list?
