** Description changed: Binary package hint: gdm Hi, during one of the last updates, a new version of gdm was installed which prompts with a slightly different login window now. The new window has a title bar, a frame and even buttons to minimize the screen. However, since there no other windows in gdms login screen, neither the title bar nor the buttons appear to make any sense. Clicking the "Minimize" button, for example, will result in a "minimize" animation, however, the login window does not get minimized. Thus, I suppose that the title bar and buttons appear in the login window by mistake. I will try to take a screenshot and attach it later. + Adrian - Adrian + Also affects: + - Sticky notes + - firefox tab previews ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Sat Feb 20 13:08:44 2010 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04 "Lucid Lynx" - Alpha i386 (20100113) Package: gdm 2.29.6-0ubuntu3 ProcEnviron: - LANGUAGE=en_US.UTF-8 - LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 - PATH=(custom, no user) - LANG=en_US.UTF-8 - SHELL=/bin/bash + LANGUAGE=en_US.UTF-8 + LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 + PATH=(custom, no user) + LANG=en_US.UTF-8 + SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-13.18-generic SourcePackage: gdm Uname: Linux 2.6.32-13-generic i686
