How to reproduce :
1- Connect an USB audio device (for instance, an USB headset)
2- Open gnome-volume-control
3- Change volumes for microphone input & speaker
4- Disconnect device
5- Reconnect device
Expected results : the volume for both speaker and microphone should be
restored as before disconnection
Actual results : the volume is restored to a predefined setting (determined at
computer shut-down?)
Impact : before using Skype, for instance, one must always adjust volume
settings before making a call
