I'm having this problem on Ubuntu 9.10. I print a PDF from my instructor, the 'activity' light on the printer blinks slowly for a while (same as for any print job), then nothing. The activity light returns to solid on, and no output. I have an Apple LaserWriter Select 360. Plain text files seem to print OK.
