Binary package hint: pulseaudio
On Lucid, i am frequently thrown out of my Gnome session and put into
GDM. I'm not entirely sure what triggers it, but I suspect pulseaudio,
because I can see the following in my messages log:
Feb 24 22:57:09 AlexT60 kernel: [ 2148.508984] Unpin not necessary for f2711200
!
Feb 24 22:57:09 AlexT60 pulseaudio[3129]: pid.c: Stale PID file, overwriting.
Feb 24 22:57:09 AlexT60 pulseaudio[3129]: main.c: Unable to contact D-Bus:
org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoServer: Failed to connect to socket
/tmp/dbus-bba6AqNiSP: Connection refused
Any hints on which logs to check or else how to debug are welcome.
