Thanks for taking time to report this bug and make ubuntu better. Can
you please quit empathy, remove ~/.config/Empathy ~/.gconf/apps/empathy
~/.mission-control and then reboot and start empathy. This should solve
the problem for you. If that does not work can you please install the
development release of empathy from the telepathy ppa:
https://launchpad.net/~telepathy/+archive/ppahttps://launchpad.net/~telepathy/+archive/ppa
