Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel
I have performed a lot of experiments with this bug and found out that when a panel in Ubuntu or Mint is set to non-expanded mode, then at various times (unpredictable), window buttons will fail to be visible. I'm using Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala. Here is my system's information... http://www.cmschlenke.com/My-Laptop.html I created this document by using the "sudo lshw -html > My-Laptop.html" command. It seems as if this bug is caused by a lack of "refresh" of the gnome panel. I am no developer though. Please let me know what other information I can acquire to help you guys and gals out! ** Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- With non-expanded panels, sometimes window buttons won't show up on the panel https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/530856 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-panel in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
