Binary package hint: totem
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a video in totem
2. Make sure totem is in foreground
3. change volume or brightness via keyboard shortcuts
what happens
when the notifications appear for changing the volume or brightness, the
video flashes black and back to the video.
Attaching a video of what it looks like. Also, this does *not* occur
when using mplayer.
