Hi,

is it possible to have an explanation of why "Shut Down" has been renamed to
"Switch Off"?
I reckon Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Mac all use "Shut Down" (Windows XP is
using "Turn off"). Where else has "Switch Off" been used in Gnome? Shouldn't
"Switch Off" be used where there is a real button to press?

Thanks.
