Workaround: Dont rename your folders, but:
(1) create a new folder with the new name
(2) copy the emails from the old folder to the new one
(3) delete the old folder
This procedure seems to be useful for "repairing" affected folders
(i.e., folders that have recently been renamed and are now subject to this bug).
