Binary package hint: gdm
This just started after the latest gdm updates. The gdm / X session
spontaneously restarts.
I am also reporting bug 535316, which started happening at the same
time, and wondering if they might be related in terms of a random
garbage to a VT causing gdm / X to restart.
See also bug 527721, although my X session is on TTY7.
