Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: nautilus
When using "connect to server" or a bookmark in Nautilus to connect to a samba
server, a gvfsd-smb process uses 100% CPU, but the connection is not
established.
When the gvfsd-smb process is killed, the following error is displayed in a
window:
Could not open location 'smb://u...@server/share/'. DBus error
org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Message did not receive a reply (timeout by
message bus).
I can connect to the samba server using smbclient.
The samba server is running karmic, and does not have traces of the attempt in
the log-file.
System: Licid daily build from 8/3.
