Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gedit

1)
Description: Ubuntu 9.10
Release: 9.10

2)
apt-cache policy gedit
gedit:
  Installiert: 2.28.0-0ubuntu2
  Kandidat: 2.28.0-0ubuntu2
  Versions-Tabelle:
 *** 2.28.0-0ubuntu2 0
        500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com karmic/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
3)
I can mark my classname, and paste it into the save-dialog, which would be
possible, if it wasn't modal.

4) Dialog is modal, I have to close it (after I choosed the directory
where to save the file, a work which I have to repeat after closing the
dialog, and reopening it.

It's a misdesign, not an error which crashes the application.
Unusability.
