Binary package hint: devicekit-power
This bug is very similar to 481056, but on different hardware. If the
system reports that the battery is critically low and that the computer
will hibernate in few minutes, and the power cord is plugged after that
message, but before the actual hibernation treshold, the plugging of the
power cord will cause the computer to report that the battery is below
critical level, and then hibernate.
If the charger is plugged in earlier—for example after the battery has
reached low (but not critical) treshold—then this problem won't occur,
but the battery will simply start charging, which is the expected
result. A machine with power cord already plugged shouldn't hibernate!
