Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gvfs
On Lucid beta-1: When plugging in my Cowon iaudio7 flash-drive mp3/ogg/...-media player via USB the player is only recognised as a hard drive. This worked fine on Ubuntu 09.10 but is broken on Lucid. Expected behaviour: Ubuntu should recognise that this is a media-player and ask what todo with the drive (as it used to be in Lucid). The following thread on the ubuntu-forums seem to be related http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1422258&highlight=cowon I will add some random log-files and terminal output that could be related. Since I am not an developer, I am not sure if this is sufficient to track the problem down. Please feel free to ask for further information. ** Affects: gvfs (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: regression-potential -- cowon iaudio7 only being recognised as disk and not as media player https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/542321 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gvfs in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
